Why September is My Favorite Month: Embracing Fall and Hispanic Heritage Month
There’s something magical about September. For me, it’s not just the gentle shift into fall, with its cozy sweaters and pumpkin-spiced todo, but it also signals the kickoff of Hispanic Heritage Month.
This is the time when our collective celebration of Hispanidad truly shines.
From mid-September through mid-October, we get the chance to amplify the richness of our culture, our shared history, and, one of my missions, unity among Latinos.
It’s a time to highlight and honor all the fantastic layers of who we are, as a community and as individuals.
This year, I’m thrilled to be a part of Todo Wafi’s 3rd Annual Revolución Festival, a Hispanic Heritage Month event in 2024 that’s all about embracing and elevating our cultura.
As a speaker, entrepreneur, and community builder, I’m constantly seeking opportunities to connect and uplift, and this event couldn’t be more aligned with that mission.
Hispanic Heritage Month Event 2024: Why I’m Excited
When I first heard about this festival, I was instantly captivated by its focus on unity and cultural celebration. Revolución isn’t just another event—it’s a platform for our community to come together, to share our stories, and to inspire one another. I’m honored to be sharing the stage with incredible changemakers like Jon Huertas, Aida Rodriguez, Patty Rodriguez, and so many more who are pushing boundaries and making waves in their respective fields.
I’ll be kicking off the Saturday programming with keynote remarks that set the tone for a day filled with empowering panels and workshops.
