Digital Transformation Incubator for Latinos in the US & Latin America

Be El Cambio

My mantra has always been that Latinos NEED to be the change they want to see. Shout out to Ghandi for that quote.

I am not a fan of waiting for our politicians to find solutions to problems that we ourselves can solve by coming together and taking action.

That’s why I am a mentor with organizations that serve Latino small businesses and Latino students. One of these organizations, Brooklyn 2Bogota is doing some wonderful work with digital transformation.

Brooklyn2Bogota, founded by my dear amiga and badass Latina in tech, Rosario B. Casas with her amazing husband, Felipe Andrés Forero Hauzeur, is a digital transformation incubator.

El Problema

There is a problem where many Latino small business owners struggle with the many ins and outs of succeeding in the digital world. Brooklyn2Bogota solves this issue by offering an incubator where these entrepreneurs can learn the skills they need to better their businesses and compete on a digital level.

The trainings are delivered via awarding scholarships to a 10-week cohort where business mentors such as myself teach and consult the awardees about everything they need to transform their businesses into online selling machines.

Brooklyn2Bogota: Vender, Vender y Vender

My area of expertise is online marketing. There are experts in finance, law, operations, project management and every area of running a business you can imagine.

Some of the trainings include learning how to use a CRM, promoting your business on Google, using social media and LinkedIn to generate leads and much more.

It’s also important to note that the trainings are in Spanish and the scholarships are open to the United States and all of Latin America.

Next Cohort

The next cohort runs from August 16th through October 22, 2022. If you know someone who needs this training, tell them to apply for the scholarship!

The deadline for applications is August 1, 2022.
