Introducing Isabel Allende to Clubhouse

Yesterday I was thrilled and beyond excited to welcome renowned Latina author Isabel Allende to Clubhouse to speak about her newest book, “Violeta”.

Not only is she one of my absolute Latina heroines, but Allende is a perfect example of a woman who has translated the stories she has lived into success.

One of my favorite takeaways from this chat are that Allende has a wonderful sense of humor.

Also, when someone is a good storyteller, it translates from the page into speaking. She did not disappoint.

My only complain is that we had an hour, because I could have listened to her for days on end.
