I know I keep mentioning how much of a geek I truly am.
So I decided to share my geekiness with you and take you on a journey into my brain and the things that make me tick.
Mainly, it’s just a bunch of cool and possibly weird stuff on the interwebs that I pay attention to.
I have to stay on top of tech trends and specifically anything having to do with IM (internet marketing) so I always stumble across the cool and the weird.
Augmented reality sneakers have arrived
We both know it was simply a matter of time before these kicks popped up. AR is going to continue to be the “new thing” with all the hype and new products that come along with it.
Japanese footwear company Onitsuka Tiger teamed up with fashion label Anrealage to create their new augmented reality sneakers.
I’m not really sure what the trailer is conveying, but it’s pretty cool to watch.
The folks over at Mashable tested them out and were pretty underwhelmed, noting that it only works on one shoe (the left).
Would I buy this? This techie is not nearly excited enough to want to try these. I’ll wait till they look a lot cooler and do more before I get all pumped.
Blimp Drones?
First and foremost: Mommy Likey.
If you’ve read about my gadget lust before, you’ve probably seen several mentions of drones. I like them.
A lot.
So when I saw these blimp drones by a new company called Spacial, I was majorly geeking out.
Would I buy this? Absofrigginlutely! There is no more thinking on this one. I would buy this in a heartbeat and spend oodles of hours creating all kinds of cool videos.
Pedalboards
I always get excited when I read about anything that helps make my outdoors enjoyment more enjoyable.
If it makes water sports, running or riding more enjoyable, I’m in!
The Mirage Eclipse by Hobie promises to do just that.
I want one and I want one now.
Would I buy this? This is a super easy “Heck Yeah!”
Piggyback Driver
According to Mashable, this product is for those who think a parent’s “self respect is overrated.” PiggyBack Driver enables kids to “drive” their parents while on a piggyback ride.
Would you get one for yourself or someone with a kid?
Would I buy this? I am not sure that I would buy this. Â Then again, it could turn into a huge thing. I’ve been wrong about many an item that later becomes super trendy.

Foldio3 Portable Studio
Foldio3 is a portable studio that allows anyone to take high quality photos. The third iteration is currently on Kickstarter and has raised over $800,000.
It is super compact when folded for easy carrying and dramatically expands into a 25 inch x 25 inch studio.
It has a magnetic structure which enables setup to be in 10 seconds. It has both white abd black backdrops, three LED strips and a Halo bar for different lighting options that are controlled by a dimming controller.
Would I buy this? Yeppers. Mami needs to up her photo game. I will be hitting the purchase button on this puppy as soon as I’m done with this post.

I’m a don’t-buy-it-unless-you-need-it kind of person, so probably the only gadget I would go for is the Foldio3 Portable Studio. I could really use that one!
I think the pedalboards look fun. You’d definitely get a workout, but fun nonetheless.
As a blogger, i will go for this Foldio studio, looks so cute and handy. Especially I use smartphone for my photography.
Okay, these are all pretty cool. I’m a low tech person in general but I love knowing what’s being developed.

I want the padle board! My husband and I love kayaking this would just add to the fun and change it up!

Piggyback driver looks awesome and fun! But I think this will definitely make me tired. The kids will probably want to use it everyday and use me as their personal driver everywhere!
I want all of this! So cool. I especially need that portable studio for better photos. I’ll add it to my Christmas list 😉
As a Luddite, I must admit that I had never heard of any of these gadgets before. Some people are sure to be excited though.

The peddleboard and the light foldio3 thing yup yup yup. Especially when I’m doing product shots of brands I’m working with. I always shoot in bright daylight and add good filters but that foldio3 would be awesome!! The peddleboard would be solo cool too!!

I think the pedal boards are a good idea. I”m going to send a pic to my (grown) kids and tell them I can go surfing with them now, hahaha
These gadgets all look like they are so cool. I am not super techy but I could definitely get down with some of these.
Would have loved to procure the pedalboard but that’s a “no no” cause am afraid of the river. The Foldio3 Portable Studio is a must have.

I guess I’m somewhat of a gadget nerd. I was interested in a few of the things on the list. I’m not sold on the Piggyback driver gadget. I deal with that without the gadget already. Lol

All of the tech looks very interesting on here. I would definitely love to purchase some of those. Although even after watching the clip I am trying to understand the purpose of the augmented reality sneakers.
I love reading about new gadgets and testing them out in tech shops. I don’t think I’d be buying any of them soon.
The Foldio Studio and the Pedal Board are my fave! The studio because I could def. use this now as a blogger and the Pedal Board because I’m a water baby and that seems ohhh so fun!
Omg I want all these gadgets. But I definitely want to check out the Foldio3 Portable Studio, it looks like a game changer.
